Andrew Boone

JV Assistant Coach

Andrew Boone is the upcoming JV Assistant Coach for the Edison Girl's program. He is a recent Edison graduate and has been a part of the boy's side of Edison volleyball for the past four years. Andrew's club team won AAU Nationals 17-Premier in 2025 and, more recently, the SoCal Cup 18-Open in 2026. He was selected to participate in the Orange County All Star game, was inducted into the Edison Hall of Fame and will be continuing his volleyball career at Orange Coast College. He is very excited to contribute to the girl's side of the program and is looking forward to a great season.

Brent Benson

Frosh/Soph Head Coach

Brent Benson is the Head Coach of the Frosh/Soph team this upcoming Fall. He graduated from Edison this past Spring. Brent has been playing volleyball for five years and is a middle blocker. During his senior season, he was named Edison's Most Valuable Player, the MVP of the Boy's Orange County All Star Game, was inducted into the Edison Hall of Fame and was a First Team All-Sunset League selection. He will continue his volleyball career at Goldenwest College in the Spring. Brent is looking forward to bringing his volleyball knowledge to the 2026 Frosh-Soph team.

Luke Gass

Frosh/Soph Assistant Coach

Luke is the Frosh/Soph Assistant Coach for the upcoming 2026 season. He is a recent graduate from Edison High School and has played competitive volleyball in high school and club for over 4 years. He will continue his volleyball career at Orange Coast College as a biology major.
