Frosh Tournament Weekend

The 2024 tournament will feature 24 teams. Pool play will begin promptly at 8:00 AM. You should be prepared to move sites for playoffs.

Please inform your parents that there will be a $10 entry fee for spectators. If you have to change sites for playoffs your ticket will be accepted at the next site. No pets allowed in the gym.

Coaches please tell your parents that they can bring chairs, but they must have something on the legs to protect the gym floor. Site director has the final word on a chair being OK.

Pool Play: Pool play will start at 8:00AM. There will be 6 pools of 4 teams. Pool play will be 2 out of 3 games to 25 points with the 3rd game will be to 15, no cap. After the completion of pool play you may need to move sites. Please drive safely and quickly so we can get the playoffs started as soon as possible. Be prepared to play or ref when you get to the site.

All 1st and 2nd place will play in the Championship bracket at Edison High School. All 3rd and 4th place teams will play in the Silver bracket at Huntington Beach High School

Playoffs:

Playoffs will be single elimination (If you lose your playoff match, your team will need to ref the next match on that court). No Cap. All playoff matches will be 1 game to 25. With teams switching sites, we will schedule playoff matches as teams arrive at their playoff sites.

Tie Breaking Procedures:

If there is a 2 way tie the tiebreaker is head-to-head record. If there is a 3 way tie, the first tiebreaker will be game ratio (games won divided by total games played) and then by point ratio if necessary (points won divided by points lost). NO TIES WILL BE PLAYED OFF
