Coach Trent Jackson

In 2019 we welcomed Coach Trent Jackson back to the Edison Girls' Volleyball program after a 6-year break to spend time with his family, coach his kid's in soccer, and focus on his teaching Science at Edison High School.

Coach Jackson has been coaching volleyball for over 20 years. He was the Varsity Head Coach for Edison Girls' and Boys' Volleyball programs for 12 seasons (2002-2013), and the Girls' and Boys' Volleyball Head Coach at Canyon High School for 4 seasons (1999-2002). Coach Jackson has an accomplished CIF record, leading three volleyball teams to CIF championships - Edison Girls (2004), Edison Boys (2006) and Canyon High School Boys (2002).

Prior to his high school coaching career, Coach Jackson was the Head Coach for the Humboldt State Men's Volleyball Program (1997) and the Assistant Coach for the Humboldt State Women's Volleyball Program (1997-1998).

Coach Jackson also has over 20 years club coaching experience at both Orange County Volleyball Club and Balboa Bay Boys Volleyball Club, where he has been coaching since 1999.
